Work to include the term AGROECOLOGY in Merriam-Webster's dictionary. The annual California Science Teachers Association Conference's efforts to promote a GARDEN-IN-EVERY-SCHOOL.                                                         The 30 year history of the University of California's science of Agroecology.

Work during the eighties with Cesar Chavez and the United Farm Workers to promote California's Silicon Valley's agricultural heritage. Pete Seeger's message to us that said promoting and nurturing community gardens is one of the most important things that we humans can do ! Inspiration from Alan Chadwick in Saratoga, California.   Chadwick's work pioneered the University of California's science of sustainable agriculture also called agroecology .
